The Online Investor is the result of the combined effort of Ted Allrich and James Hale.  Ted is the author of the book The On-Line Investor (St. Martin's Press) and is chairman of the board for The Bank of Internet USA. His latest book, Comfort Zone Investing, Build Wealth And Sleep Well At Night, was published in 2007. Ted has spent over twenty-five years in the capital markets, working in areas from fixed income to investment banking to equity trading. He has an MBA from Stanford, and an English degree from the University of California at Davis. He is the founder of Allrich Investment Management LLC, registered in the state of California.

James C. Hale joined this partnership from Standard & Poors MMS where he worked as a bond market analyst and manager of online information products. He wrote continuous updates on the financial markets and explained the latest economic data for major brokerage houses and institutional investors.  He has appeared on CNBC, CNN and other business programs. You may have seen him quoted in national newspapers such as the New York Times and USA Today. He graduated from the University of Denver with degrees in mathematics and economics while still finding time to play lacrosse and ski.
