ALSK: provides integrated communications services in the State of Alaska. It operates in two segments, Wireline and Wireless. The Wireline segment provides voice, data, broadband, multi-protocol label switching services, network access, long distance, and other services to consumers, carriers, businesses and enterprises, and government customers. This segment also offers other telecommunications carriers voice and data services, such as private line, frame relay, and ATM services; and voice and data termination services to long distance and other carriers through its local telephone facilities. The Wireless segment provides facilities-based voice and data services; and equipment sales. This segment, through roaming agreements with the U.S. and Canadian carriers, provides its customers a range of services and coverage in the lower 48 states, Hawaii, and Canada. CNSL: provides communications services to residential and business customers in Illinois, Texas, and Pennsylvania. It offers a range of telecommunications services, including local and long distance service, custom calling features, private line services, dial-up and high-speed broadband Internet access, digital television services, carrier access services, Internet protocol digital television (IPTV), network capacity services over its regional fiber optic network, directory publishing, and competitive local exchange carriers (CLEC) calling services. The company also provides telephone directory publishing, wholesale transport services on a fiber optic network in Texas, billing and collection services, inside wiring services, and maintenance services. In addition, it operates a number of complementary businesses, including telephone services to county jails and state prisons; equipment sales; operator services; and mobile and paging services. FTR: provides regulated and unregulated voice, data, and video services to residential, business, and wholesale customers in the United States. The company offers switched access services that allow other carriers to use the facilities to originate and terminate their long distance voice and data traffic; local services, which include basic telephone wireline services to residential and business customers; long distance services; data services, including Internet access via high-speed or dial up Internet access, portal and e-mail products frame relay, Metro Ethernet, asynchronous transfer mode, switching services, and hard drive back-up services, as well as other data transmission services; and directory services that provides white and yellow page directories for residential and business listings. It also provides television services, which comprise access to various digital television channels featuring movies, sports, news, music, and high-definition TV programming; and wireless data services..
